2006

- Organizing of the activities in the frame of the project taking into account the complexity of the theme; partners coordination; scientific activities coordination;
- Scientific report of literature regarding the CMR oxide materials
- Study about the identification of new micro and nanostructured magnetoresistive (CMR) oxides on the basis of the complex consideration of the following aspects:
• Structural, energetic and morphological characteristics of the perovskite-type compounds with a special emphasis’s on the manganites.
• The nature of the magnetoresistive effect in the CMR manganites, taking into account the key points:
- Specificities of the double exchange mechanism
- The polaronic transport model
- The nature of the defects structure in the CMR compounds
- New possibilities of correlation of the thermodynamic properties with the changes in composition, structure, grain size.
- Identification of the possibilities of control and optimizing of the CMR compounds with the perovskite structure
- Elaboration of specific methods for thermodynamic, structural, morphological, electrical and magnetic characteristics
- Purchase of new equipments
- Papers for publishing in the thematic area of the project.

  • Synthesis of the nanocrystalline powders by different methods of synthesis and using different processing parameters (the method of coprecipitation with different precipitation agents, the xcombustion method, sol-gel and hydrothermal)
